Residential / Interior design study

A room for two.

A shared bedroom study bringing sleeping, storage and study space into a warm, compact interior.

01 / The design question

How can two children share one room without every activity competing for the same floor area?

02 / The approach

  1. Organize sleeping vertically to leave more usable space for movement and everyday activities.
  2. Integrate storage with the stairs and bed structure so furniture reads as one coordinated system.
  3. Keep study positions near the window and balance pale timber with soft colour.

What the work makes clear

The views communicate a compact room as a set of distinct places to sleep, study and put things away—not simply a pair of beds.
