Pricing / project planning

A clearer way to budget creative work.

Every Artimist project is quoted after the real files, outputs and deadline are reviewed. These planning bands make the first conversation faster without pretending that unlike scopes cost the same.

Architectural sketches, technical drawings and material studies converging into a finished contemporary building
From first mark to final handover

Planning, skilled production, coordination and quality control are part of one continuous studio process.

01

Project bands

Find the scale that
resembles your brief.

Use the ranges to orient the conversation. The final fee follows the exact work, not the label.

01

Focused scope

Under $2,500

For a tightly defined output with clear source material.

  • Plan redraws and drawing cleanup
  • Focused layout or design studies
  • Small visualization tests
  • Defined CAD or Revit production tasks
Typical structure

Scope confirmation, agreed output list, review point and final handover.

03

Integrated delivery

$7,500–$20,000

For several connected outputs or a deeper design process.

  • Whole-home concept and interior development
  • Coordinated architectural or BIM packages
  • Multi-view visualization and animation
  • Brand, spatial and digital work delivered together
Typical structure

Milestones, coordination, presentation reviews and multi-format handover.

04

Complex program

$20,000+

For larger, phased or ongoing production requirements.

  • Large architectural documentation scopes
  • Extended BIM or visualization partnerships
  • Campaign, film or real-time experiences
  • Multi-phase multidisciplinary programs
Typical structure

Phased proposal, dedicated production planning and scheduled decision gates.

Planning guidance, not a binding offer. Taxes, third-party consultants, travel, authority fees, licensed-professional services and unusual software or output requirements are excluded unless a proposal states otherwise.

02

Hourly studio

Buy the time and
expertise you need.

Best for evolving briefs, overflow support, ongoing production or tasks that are easier to start than to fully define.

Production support

Drawing cleanup, file organization, documented markups and tightly directed production.

$45/ hour

Senior design & coordination

Design development, multidisciplinary reviews, client coordination and complex decisions.

$85/ hour

Creative / technical direction

Strategy, concept leadership, technical oversight and senior creative direction.

$110/ hour

Priority / short-notice

Approved rush work that requires reserved capacity, evenings or schedule reshuffling.

$135/ hour

How hourly work is billed

Rates are USD. A two-hour minimum applies to new ad hoc requests; after that, time is recorded in 15-minute increments. Before starting, we confirm the role, estimated hours and an approval cap. Taxes, third-party costs and licensed-professional services are separate unless stated.

03

Why it costs this

Where a typical
project fee goes.

The majority pays for the skilled production itself. The rest protects the brief, coordination and quality of the final handover.

20%Reviews & coordination
15%QA, packaging & handover
10%

Discovery & planning

Brief review, source-file audit, scope definition, schedule and production route.

55%

Core design & production

The hands-on work: drawing, modeling, designing, rendering, editing and building deliverables.

20%

Reviews & coordination

Internal reviews, client checkpoints, specialist coordination and revision management.

15%

QA, packaging & handover

Final checks, exports, organized files, delivery notes and project closeout.

This is an indicative allocation, not a surcharge list. The mix changes with the brief—for example, a clean redraw spends more on production, while a complex program spends more on planning and coordination.

04

Quote factors

What moves a project
between bands.

The fastest way to improve quote accuracy is to show the project as it exists today.

01

Starting information

Clear PDFs, DWGs, RVTs, surveys and decisions reduce discovery time. Rough ideas need more development.

02

Area & complexity

Size matters, but geometry, coordination, detail and the number of spaces usually matter more.

03

Deliverables

A plan, coordinated model, permit-support set, still image, film and interactive experience are different production routes.

04

Revisions

The proposal states the included review rounds. New directions or added outputs are quoted as additional scope.

05

Schedule

A compressed deadline can require reserved production capacity and changes the delivery plan.

A useful comparison

The same floor plan can be four different jobs.

RedrawMake it clear and editable.

Reproduce supplied information accurately without redesigning the scheme.

ModifyImprove layout and circulation.

Test changes, resolve relationships and document the agreed direction.

DocumentPrepare coordinated information.

Develop the drawing or model set for review, pricing, permits or construction use.

VisualizeShow the spatial outcome.

Add materials, lighting, viewpoints, animation or interactive presentation.

03

Quote process

From uncertain budget
to a written scope.

One concise review replaces rounds of generic estimates.

  1. 01

    Send the real material

Share drawings, sketches, reference images, target outputs and the deadline.

  2. 02

    We review the scope

The studio checks what is usable, what is missing and which specialists may be needed.

  3. 03

    Receive a written proposal

You see the deliverables, milestones, revisions, exclusions, fee and payment schedule before work starts.

  4. 04

    Begin with one clear milestone

Production starts after approval and the agreed opening payment.

Pricing questions

Before you send the brief.

Are these fixed package prices?

No. They are planning bands based on the budget ranges already used in Artimist project intake. Every quotation follows a review of the actual source material, deliverables and deadline.

How does hourly billing work?

Choose the level of support the task needs. Time is recorded in 15-minute increments after a two-hour minimum, and the studio provides a time summary with billing. The written proposal confirms the applicable rate before work starts.

Can I combine fixed and hourly pricing?

Yes. A defined main scope can be fixed-price while later additions, meetings or open-ended support run hourly. Any change is agreed in writing before extra work begins.

Which currency is shown?

The ranges are shown in USD for a consistent international reference. Your written proposal confirms the billing currency and payment schedule.

Can a small task be quoted?

Yes. Focused redraws, model cleanup, single-view studies and other bounded tasks are welcome when the inputs and output are clear.

Are permits, engineering or professional stamps included?

Only when explicitly listed. Local authority submissions, engineering and legally required architectural or engineering stamps may need separately appointed local professionals.

How many revisions are included?

The proposal states the included rounds and what counts as a revision. A new direction or added deliverable is treated as additional scope.

Working standard

Clear before commitment.

Scope, confidentiality and handover are agreed in writing. Project-specific signed terms always take priority.

01

Scope first

Deliverables, timing, revisions and fees are agreed before production.

02

Confidential when needed

NDA-based workflows are available before sensitive files are shared.

03

Defined handover

Final PDFs, DWGs, RVTs, images, films or source files follow the written scope.

04

Honest local boundary

Required stamps, seals and statutory certification stay with the appropriately licensed local professional.

Permit-support may include package preparation, coordination and submission support when agreed. Artimist does not supply a regional architectural or engineering stamp; any legally required stamp, seal or certification must come from the appropriately licensed local professional.
