Product design / jewelry CAD / photorealistic rendering

Product & jewelry design and rendering

Give an object its clearest expression.

Artimist Productions offers product and jewelry design, 3D modelling and rendering at $50/hour USD. Develop a product from sketches, refine an existing CAD model or create a consistent image collection for design review, ecommerce and presentation.

01 / What we can help with

A clear scope.
Useful outputs.

For product brands, independent jewelers, designers, makers and ecommerce teams who need a clear connection between the design, its digital model and its presentation.

01

Product design & 3D modelling

Explore form, proportions, components and material relationships from sketches or a brief. Develop a reviewable model before committing to the final image direction.

02

Jewelry CAD design

Rhino-based modelling for rings, pendants, bracelets and collection studies. Work from your dimensions, stone specifications and references, with manufacturer review requirements agreed early.

03

Photorealistic product rendering

Use controlled lighting, material response and camera placement to explain the object. Product heroes, detail views and context images each serve a clear purpose.

04

Ecommerce packshots

Prepare consistent product angles, clean backgrounds and useful close-ups for online collections. Agree crop, margins, image dimensions and background requirements before rendering.

05

Metal, colour & finish variants

Compare finishes while preserving the agreed geometry and camera framing. Jewelry examples can show yellow-, white- and rose-gold appearances without implying a certified metal specification.

06

Parametric design & collections

Use Rhino and Grasshopper workflows where repetition or controlled variation helps the brief. Keep size, parameter and export records connected to the correct version.

02 / Selected public work

See the thinking
in the object.

Explore the relevant public studies. Each example keeps its own design, visualization or prototype status.

Jewelry product visualization

One ring, three finish stories

Consistent geometry, three metal appearances and complementary packshot and still-life views. The images communicate finish and form, not manufacturing certification.

Product design & visualization

Porcelain, metal & marble

A decorative object explored through overall, reverse, detail and interior-context views, with manufacturer-review documentation kept distinct from imagery.

Portfolio concept-study collection

Product form & material studies

A separate collection of modelling and visualization studies. These demonstrate a design workflow rather than a single commissioned or manufactured product.

03 / Agree the handover

Know what
you will receive.

Build your agreed output list

  • Product or jewelry 3D models within scope
  • Product hero and close-up renders
  • White-background ecommerce packshots
  • Still-life and contextual image sets
  • Coordinated material and finish variants
  • Agreed high-resolution and web-sized exports

The written proposal identifies the exact files, views and review rounds included in your scope.

What to send us

  • Sketches, reference images or existing CAD files
  • Product dimensions and component requirements
  • Jewelry sizes and confirmed stone specifications
  • Material, metal and finish references
  • Required views, image sizes and backgrounds
  • Intended use, deadline and review priorities

Share only files you have permission to use. Private source documents and client details stay out of the public presentation.

04 / How we work

One brief.
Clear review points.

  1. 01

    Choose the right starting point

Tell us whether you need a new design, model refinement or renders from existing CAD. We confirm the brief, source quality, estimated hours and outputs.

  2. 02

    Resolve form and specifications

Review proportions, components and material intent. For jewelry, separate supplied stone and setting information from details that still need confirmation.

  3. 03

    Approve one visual direction

Review a representative angle and material setup before extending the style across all views and variants.

  4. 04

    Deliver a consistent collection

Check geometry continuity, framing, finish variations, file dimensions and export quality across the agreed image set.

05 / Questions before starting

Practical answers.

Can you design a product or jewelry piece from a sketch?

Yes. Share the sketch, reference images and reliable dimensions. For jewelry, include ring size, stone shapes and confirmed stone measurements. We agree the modelling, review and rendering stages before developing the design.

Can you render the CAD model I already have?

Yes. We review your file and confirm units, geometry and material assignments before quoting the image set. Send the available Rhino 3DM, STEP, IGES, STL, OBJ or other source format for a compatibility check; a visual mesh does not automatically become manufacturing CAD.

How much do product and jewelry design or renders cost?

The hourly rate is USD $50 for the agreed product design, jewelry modelling and rendering scope. Total cost depends on source-file quality, model complexity, views, finishes and revisions. A written proposal confirms the estimated hours and deliverables.

Can you make yellow-, white- and rose-gold variants?

Yes. We can develop coordinated metal-appearance variants with consistent geometry, view and framing. Colour references and lighting direction are agreed first; rendered colour is not a metal-composition certificate.

Can I request white-background packshots and 4K images?

Yes. Clean-background packshots, still-life views and 4K or web-sized exports can be included. We confirm image dimensions, file format, crop, margins and any store-specific requirements before producing the complete set.

Are the jewelry models automatically ready for casting?

No. Casting readiness depends on confirmed dimensions, material, wall thickness, stone seats, setting method and the manufacturer’s process. Production-specific CAD review and any prototype or first-article checks must be included in the agreed scope.
