01 / The design question

How can one simple enclosure accommodate individual sleeping spaces and shared circulation?

02 / The approach

  1. Read the shelter first as an enclosing volume, then as a series of interior zones.
  2. Use partitions to distinguish sleeping spaces while retaining a shared circulation route.
  3. Present exterior and interior model views together to connect footprint, enclosure and occupancy.
